PUPPY OWNERS
It is critical that you have your puppy tested for heartworm prior to adoption or purchase.  If you are getting your puppy from a shelter or rescue, please be aware that puppies from the South have a higher incidence of heartworm.  Please share this information with anyone you know that recently got a puppy or is planning on getting a puppy in the future.

Heartworm disease is no longer treatable and is considered fatal.
